Teens & Adults
Comprehensive airway-centric assessments and treatment for patients 13 and older.
It's never too late to address airway and functional issues. Many teens and adults discover that symptoms they've lived with for years — from sleep problems to chronic headaches — can be traced back to tongue ties and breathing dysfunction.
Common Concerns We Address
Sleep apnea and snoring
Chronic mouth breathing
TMJ pain and dysfunction
Headaches and migraines
Neck and shoulder tension
Speech difficulties
Orthodontic relapse
Untreated tongue ties
Our Approach for Older Patients
For teens and adults, treatment often involves a combination of surgical release (when indicated) and myofunctional therapy to retrain muscle patterns that have developed over years.
Tongue tie releases for patients ages 3-17 are performed under general anesthesia in our office with a medical anesthesiologist and pediatric nursing team.
